Bluebird Houses cedar wood roof line vent, floor drainage holes, side opens for observation and cleaning. Side entrance, predator guard for safety made outt of PLA Filament on a 3D Printer, rough finish mimics trees to attract bluebird.
This birdhouse is made from natural, 1/2" untreated cedar. The oils in cedar make it resistant to rot, moisture and insect damage. It is resistant to temperature changes and other weather conditions.
Although it will darken over time, it does not need to be painted or stained. A transparent stain on the roof will protect it from bearing the brunt of weather. Spray spar urethane is a good, natural, non-toxic stain.
