The Day Someone Knocked on My Workshop Door

This morning started like most mornings.

A cup of coffee in my hand, checking emails, answering messages, and planning the next woodworking project. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Then I opened my Rose Wood Work email.

There it was.

A company reaching out to collaborate with my channel.

Now, was it a woodworking company? No. It was a company offering me the opportunity to review one of their products. Whether that collaboration ultimately happens isn't the point.

The point is that someone found Rose Wood Work.

That may not sound like a big deal, but for me, it represents something much bigger.

When I started this journey, there were no visitors to my website, no collaboration emails, and very few people watching my videos. Every birdhouse, every shelf, every glue-up, every sanding session, and every story shared on YouTube felt like another small step into the unknown.

Lately, things have started to change.

My website traffic has been growing.

My Shorts are reaching more viewers.

People are commenting on my work, asking questions, and following along with my projects.

And now, companies are beginning to notice.

It's a reminder that consistency matters.

Most people only see the finished project sitting on the workbench. They don't see the hours spent filming, editing, rewriting descriptions, photographing products, updating a website, or learning how to tell better stories.

Building a woodworking business isn't just about making things out of wood.

It's about building trust, one project at a time.

I don't know where this journey will lead.

Maybe the next email will be from a woodworking tool company.

Maybe it will take months.

Maybe years.

But today reminded me that every project I publish is another opportunity for someone new to discover

Rose Wood Work.

So I'll keep building.

I'll keep learning.

I'll keep sharing the process.

Because sometimes, the smallest signs of progress are the ones that remind you you're moving in the right direction.
