A Small Milestone Worth Celebrating

There are moments in life that remind you you're moving in the right direction, even if you're not at the finish line yet.

This week, YouTube surprised me with a notification I wasn't expecting:

To many people, those numbers might not seem huge.

To me...

They mean everything.

When I started Rose Wood Work, I wasn't chasing viral videos. I simply wanted to share my love for woodworking and hopefully inspire someone to pick up a piece of wood and create something with their own hands.

The journey hasn't always been easy.

There have been technical problems, camera issues, editing challenges, website work, and plenty of moments where I wondered if anyone was even watching.

But every project taught me something.

Every video made me a little better.

Recently, something unexpected happened.

I rediscovered my love for photography.

Buying the Canon 24mm pancake lens reminded me why I fell in love with capturing light years ago. I've found myself slowing down, photographing flowers before they bloom, quiet rainy mornings, forest floors, and golden-hour light.

That renewed passion has also started influencing the way I film my woodworking projects.

I don't just want to show how I build something.

​I want each video to have a story.

A mood.

A quiet moment that makes someone slow down for a few minutes.

This Top Creator achievement isn't the destination.

It's simply a reminder that consistent work matters.
